Sound Sleep with Dockatot

I have been pretty open and honest about life since we welcomed our second baby boy back in May. I love my life and my boys, but we had many long and hard days, followed by long and sleepless nights. Not only did Lincoln hate naps, but he also tended to wake up consistently throughout the night. None of us were getting any sleep.

Finally, about two months ago, we decided to pull the trigger on doing some sleep training, and boy oh boy am I glad that we did. In a matter of days, my baby who had never had a night where he didn't wake up fewer than twice was sleeping through the night. All night. Every night. It was absolutely amazing. While we seem to have finally gotten some control over the sleep in our house, one consistent struggle has now become getting Lincoln to nap anywhere besides his crib. With the exception of his pack n' play at grandma's house, he has become pretty particular about where he snoozes. And, he is pretty darn particular about how he drifts off to sleep, too. He really prefers to put himself to sleep most of the time, even if it requires a bit of fussing. No rocking or cuddling for this guy!
